The first thing I noticed was the proportions. Instead of feeling oversized, the chair actually felt scaled to my body. The seat depth was shorter, so I could finally sit all the way back without the edge pressing against my legs.
Then there was the lumbar support. It's lower and closer to the natural curve of the spine. So instead of pushing my back forward, it actually supports it.
Another small detail I didn’t think about before was how much seat depth and support affect fatigue. I wasn’t constantly shifting around in my chair anymore. I could just sit and focus on work. By the end of the day, I still felt a little tired from work. But my back no longer felt like it had been through a marathon.
